Etsy requires that digital items in your shop are made or designed by you. Vectorizing your own artwork is a format change and stays yours. Tracing someone else's work does not make it yours to sell.

Start From Artwork That Is Yours
Etsy requires digital items to be made or designed by you, and a trace of your own artwork stays yours. If the art was made with AI, Etsy's creativity standards say to disclose that in the listing description.
Download The Formats Buyers Ask For
SVG for Cricut, Silhouette Designer Edition and Brother CanvasWorkspace; DXF for Silhouette's free Basic Edition, which cannot open SVG, and for laser and CNC software; EPS and PDF for print shops and design apps. Add your original PNG for printing.
Zip The Set
Etsy's list of supported file types includes ZIP but not SVG, DXF or EPS, so bundle them into one .zip. A listing takes up to five files of 20 MB each, which leaves room to split large bundles.
Name Files Before You Upload
Names are limited to 70 letters, numbers, periods, underscores and hyphens, and cannot be changed after upload. Buyers see them exactly as you set them, so something like sunflower-cut-file.zip beats final2.zip.
Tell Buyers How To Use Them
Etsy lets you add a note that appears on the buyer's Downloads page. Use it to say which file suits which machine, and make it clear in the title and images that the listing is a digital download.
Which File For Which Machine
Cricut Design Space opens SVG and DXF on desktop, but not DXF on its phone apps. Silhouette Studio needs Designer Edition or higher for SVG. Brother CanvasWorkspace imports both SVG and DXF. Including SVG and DXF covers almost every buyer.
Listing Photos For A Digital File
Show the finished project, not just the file. Etsy allows mockups after the first listing image, and its own seller guidance suggests an image that says plainly the listing is a download.
